Fixed metal braces are designed not to be removed by the patient. Attached to the front of the teeth, metal braces are the most common type of brace. Although not invisible like other types of brace, metal braces are still widely used as they are fast and reliable. With improved modern technology, this orthodontic treatment is much smaller and more comfortable than it used to be.

Made of small metal brackets, metal wire and elastic bands,  it is possible to choose vibrant coloured elastics to customise your brace.

What are the benefits of fixed braces?

If you have a clinical reason for needing orthodontic treatment, your dentist will probably recommend fixed braces as they are able to treat more complex problems such as:

• An excessively deep overbite or overjet
